Essential storage

Session cookies support sign-in and account security. Browser storage preserves your theme, drafts, device-based usage limits and diagnostic state needed to operate the service. These features do not require optional cookies.

Your cookie choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. A new analytics configuration or an expired choice shows the notice again. Clearing browser storage also clears the saved choice.

Optional cookies

How we ask depends on where you are, estimated from your connection or your browser time zone and not stored. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, optional cookies stay off until you accept them. Elsewhere, a notice explains that continuing to use the site means optional cookies are used, and you can turn them off at any time. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, optional cookies stay off unless you turn them on yourself. When we cannot tell where you are, we ask first.

Optional cookies let our third-party analytics providers, currently Google Analytics and PostHog, help us understand public-page visits and feature use. Our event code does not send your prompt text, uploaded files, account-page paths, URL fragments or referrers. If you arrive through a link we published, the campaign tags on that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term) are included so we can tell which piece of our own marketing brought you; the rest of the address is still removed, and a tag that does not look like one of our own labels is discarded rather than sent. PostHog stores a random visitor ID in your browser so visits can be connected, and turning optional cookies off deletes it. If you subscribe while optional cookies are on, that ID is attached to your billing record so the completed purchase (plan and price only) can be counted. Advertising features are not enabled by this integration.

Change your mind

Open Privacy choices in the footer to turn optional cookies on or off. Turning them off stops further application analytics events and removes the analytics cookies and visitor ID managed by this integration. It does not delete data already received by a provider; contact us about a data request.
